An on-site review from Global Action Plan’s SmartWorks team helped to assess energy, water and resource use against good practice and identify where environmental and cost savings could most easily be achieved. SmartWorks then supported Bite over a four month period as they worked on implementing changes.
How They Do It
Bite established a staff Green Team that now meets monthly to discuss new ideas and share out actions including staff events and awareness campaigns. Activities already run include hosting a Green Week with themed days, carbon foot-printing competitions, and a film screening.
What Impact It Has
