MAKING YOUR

BUSINESS GREENER

Reduce

STEP 1:

REDUCE YOUR OWN FOOTPRINT

Reduce your own environmental footprint by setting bold targets and delivering against them.

In order to reduce your footprint, it is necessary to measure the point you are starting from. There are a number of elements you might choose to track, including energy consumption, water consumption, waste output or other resource usage. However, perhaps the most effective is to calculate your carbon footprint using a combination of power usage (from your utility bills) and travel.

But you won’t be able to do this single handily and so the next step after this (Step 2) is to ask your employees to help.
