Welcome to Responsibility Northwest, the programme for the Northwest to become an internationally recognised region for businesses contributing to sustainable development.

Responsibility Northwest is led by Sustainability Northwest (SNW) in partnership with AccountAbility, Business in the Community, ENWORKS, the Northwest Business Leadership Team, Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and The Cat's Pyjamas. It is currently funded by the NWDA, Enworks (via ERDF Objective 2) and LCCI.

Aims

  1. To strengthen the link between CR and improved competitiveness of Northwest-based businesses.
  2. To substantially increase the numbers of businesses that are actively integrating CR in their businesses.
  3. To substantially increase the number of existing business networks/fora and intermediaries that are providing CR support and advice to Northwest-based businesses.
  4. To provide a stage to celebrate the Northwest as a leading international region for CR.
