Launch of Better Business Journey, a jargon-free guide for SMEs, 31 Aug 06
The UK Small Business Consortium has just published this jargon free booklet for owner-managers of small businesses and their advisers that are interested in increasing their profitability and responsibility at the same time. It contains practical tips and over 100 simple actions for any business to do today.

Happy Computers announced as Business in the Community's Small Business of the Year
Last night at a glittering gala dinner and awards ceremony hosted by BHP Billiton, Company of the Year 2005, HRH, The Prince of Wales named Happy Computers as Business in the Community's Small Company of the Year 2006 with The Impact on Society for a Small Company Award in association with the Institute of Directors. This was based on its commitment to delivering measurable, positive impacts on society.
